Visions of the Wild Festival – Today and Tomorrow!

Orlando and Linda

What a beautiful day to celebrate the WILD in downtown Vallejo!  Food Rescue is happy to be hosting a booth along with our friends Vallejo Grown, a local cooperative of community gardeners, at the little “pocket park” at the 200 block of Georgia Street!  Billed as a “Youth and Family Activity” space, there’s plenty for the kiddos to enjoy – including a giant inflated salmon, face painting, and live animals!.

We have Burpee seeds to give away, and a raffle for a gift basket of home preserved jams, pickles, and snacks crafted in the Food Rescue kitchen that we’ll be giving away on Saturday. Stop by tomorrow, Sept 6th, from 10-4 and say hello!
